Location: Brisbane Airport, QLD
Size: 78m clear span x 50m + 1,800m² office/workshops

Originally designed and built for National Jet Systems, this double bay 737 maintenance facility delivered twice the space for the budget.  Boeing Australia purchased the facility from National Jet in 2006 and occupied it for 5 years.  In 2011, Boeing sold the facility to Five Star Aviation.

A single bay 737 facility was originally conceived and costed by National Jet, and through innovative thinking and technology s² delivered a double bay hangar in the same time and for the same budget.  National Jet's scope was therefore exceeded by an astonishing 100%.

The facility incorporates an s² designed 'Hypar' Hangar Door system - a lightweight, fast moving system that can open and close the full 78m width in around 1 minute.
