The 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship presented by Tata Steel saw the modification and re-use of the Tata Steel VIP Enclosure from the previous year.

The 25m elegantly arched temporary structure is flexible and sustainable: a two-storey venue comprising a clear-span space to accommodate over 500 VIP guests, enhancing the presentation of a dynamic Olympic sport at a world-class event in one of London's finest Royal Parks.

This year, the structure was made both taller and deeper in a collaborative design process between s² corporation and Tata Steel.  Installation was achieved in only a few short days and without any in-ground works.

The Tata Steel VIP Enclosure challenges conventional thinking about the design and deployment of temporary spaces and explores the possibilities of enhancing spectator experience and crowd participation during major sporting events.
